"The purpose of this WebQuest is to engage a group of students from one school to learn as much as they can about creating safer, fairer, and better schools, then see what they can do to actually make this happen. This is definitely NOT a pretend activity. You will not only develop a plan of action, but put it into practice and see what happens over an extended period of time."
Question: Why all this violence in schools?!!
In other words... Why does it happen? Who is responsible? How can we stop it? How does all this relate to the world outside the school gates?

|
- Clearly an authentic topic that should motivate students.
- Fully scaffolded Intro, Background, Roles, and Group Process.
- Since it is written by Tom March, this WebQuest does all the things he says a great WebQuest should (circa 2003 ;-).
